Baal Hruday Suraksha Yojana

Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojna

For the poor families, an illness would either temporarily or permanently make them fall in a debt trap and curb their income completely. Ignoring the treatment the body needs might lead to something much worse. Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana or RSBY was launched in order to give the poor families their basic need of hospitalization in case of any major ailment. This scheme was launched by the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India, in a bid to provide to the below poverty line families a health insurance coverage. This scheme was developed in order to make sure that the poor families are protected from financial liabilities in case of a health issue for the people.

Under this scheme, the beneficiaries are entitled to receive up to Rs. 30000 in case of hospitalization. Also, the scheme covers all the diseases. The pre-existing conditions are undercover from day one and there is no age limit. The coverage is for five members of the family, which includes the head of the family, spouse and up to three dependants. To avail this scheme, the beneficiaries need to pay a sum of Rs. 30/- as a registration fee. AYUSH

The department of Indian Systems of Medicine and Homeopathy(ISM&H) was created in March, 1995 and was renamed as the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturpathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy, that is AYUSH in November 2003. This was created in a bid to provide attention to the educational development and research in Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy.
